Description
Cuba is well-known by its fascinating history and nationalistic
feelings, its music and traditional dances, the religious
diversity and its rich, vibrant and varied culture. Almost
all the program takes place in Santiago de Cuba, with
trips to Havana and the regions between both cities. The
interdisciplinary curriculum integrates classes, interaction
between the student and the college, visits to historical
places, musical and dance events, dance and music classes
and visits to the historical area of Sierra Maestra.
Academics
The courses offered by the center are distributed in three
levels: basic, intermediate and superior. The linguistic
modality is centered in the basic standard Spanish language
education, emphasizing its structural and functional description
as well as its practice. Those who registered in one or
both of the courses will receive an official certificate
given by the Caribbean Postgraduate Center and by the
Orient University.
Activities
20 hours of complementation classes are offered with the
language courses, including subjects like the Cuban history,
literature, art and films.
