Description
Cuba is located in the heart of the American Mediterranean,
to the south of the Tropic of Cancer in the edge of the
Mexico Gulf. The country has a joyful culture and has
wonderful monuments, fortifications and palaces by the
entire island. San Cristóbal of Havana (the historical
name of Havana) is the economic, cultural and political
center of the country and is the most wonderful Spanish
colonial complex of America. The city has an enthusiastic
nightlife with cinemas, historical theaters, nightclubs,
shows, discotheques and music bars. It’s less commercial
than other Latin American cities and still conserves the
original brightness of Old Havana. The exuberant affection
of the Cuban people makes it so special. The school is
located on the Almendares River in the district of Miramar
and has luminous classrooms, video room, access to the
Internet , a coffee and a terrace to rest between classes.
Lodging
The students can lodge in residences or in more luxurious
hotels.
Academics
The Spanish courses last a minimum of two weeks, with
a maximum of twelve students per class. The students can
choose between a standard course and an intensive one.
The standard course has 20 weekly classes of 45 minutes
each. The intensive course has 30 weekly classes. The
standard course emphasize in learning and having fun.
This allows the students to have free time in the afternoon
or night to explore Havana while they practice the Spanish.
Activities
There is lot of activities available by a minimum extra
cost. These optative cultural and social activities allow
the students to make new friends and to practice Spanish
in the real life. Going out at nights, visits to museums,
sports, videos, and more is offered almost every day.
There’s also the opportunity to take dance lessons
(rumba, mambo, cha cha cha, modern salsa).
