place. Cactus offers 3 different schools in Havana to
satisfy different needs and budgets: Havana Miramar/family
house; Havana Miramar/Hotel and Havana Vedado/family house.
Miramar is a pleasant residential and commercial district
of Havana, just 20 minutes of taxi from the center. Vedado
is nearer and there are many hotels there and also the
main university campus.
Lodging
The lodgings offered are in a family house or in a hotel.
Academics
There are different course. The general is the most popular
one and where the daily use of the language is learned;
it is an ideal introduction to learn Spanish. The individual
course is made in accordance with the student needs, with
specific vocabulary if necessary. The intensive course
is similar to the general one but with more hours per
week. Other courses combine the learning of the language
with music and dance or sports. There are also reduced
groups courses.
