Description
The old part of Havana has been lovingly recovered and
is surely one of the most beautiful and impressive Spanish
colonial cities in the entire American continent. Countless
cinemas, theaters, concert halls make of this city the
vibrant cultural center of the country. The professors
are all graduated from the university and have experience
in the education of the Spanish as foreign language. The
school has not a building of its own, so the classes are
imparted in the professor’s house, in the host family
house or in a Havana cultural center. The coordination
office provides to the students a way to have a permanent
contact with the school and the other students.
Lodging
The students live in a Cuban family house. Host families
live in the district of Vedado, few minutes away of the
coordination office.
Academics
The classes are individual. There are between 4 and 6
classes per day, for all the levels, from beginners to
advanced, emphasizing on conversation and grammar.
Activities
There are numerous free time activities like dance courses
(salsa, mambo, rumba, cha-cha-cha), music classes (percussion,
guitar), parties, and excursions. There are also countless
cinemas, theaters and concert halls that can be visited,
or just enjoy the Caribbean sun in the beach. The parties
and trips are not included in the general price of the
course.
