Description
Havana is the economic, cultural and political center
of Cuba. It has a patrimony of colonial buildings, as
also fascinating revolutionary monuments and American
cars of the 50´s working as cabs. The atmosphere
of the Old Havana, plenty of life, music and beautiful
buildings fascinates the visitor. The classes take place
in the professor’s house, the hostels or a near
Cultural Center.
Lodging
There are lodging possibilities in a four stars hotel,
a hostel or in Cuban family houses. The hotels and the
hostels are located close to the sea in the Miramar district.
Academics
The offered courses include different modalities: standard
(15 classes per week), intensive (20 classes per week),
intensive (25 classes per week), super intensive (30 classes
per week), Spanish and dance (salsa, mambo, etc.), and
Spanish and music (guitar, drum, trumpet). The groups
in family houses do not exceed the three students and
those lodging in hotels or hostels do not exceed the 8
students per class. Each class lasts 50 minutes.
Activities
Salsa, mambo and rumba classes are offered. There are
optional trips to a tobacco factory, a mango farm, the
Rum Museum and strolls by the beach.
