Description
Global Exchange works in collaboration with the Havana
University. In addition to the traditional class, the
students have the opportunity to experience the complex
political, economic, social and cultural realities of
the Island through an extensive educative program.
Lodging
The participants lodge in a three stars hotel near the
University. There are double rooms. If the student wants
a single room, this must be specifically requested, and
it has an extra fee.
Academics
The classes are imparted by Cuban professors of the Havana
University. The program lasts a month or two weeks. It’s
recommended the monthly course since it constitutes a
wider training program. It is possible to extend the program
depending on the circumstances. The center has elementary,
intermediate and advanced levels.
Activities
The program includes visits to museums, community development
projects, conversations with Cuban experts, sessions with
the Cuban tutors, a variety of cultural activities, excursions
outside Havana etc.
